The rain apparently shorted out the electric rope fence and Pearl wrecked a section. Pearl, Dollie and Prancer was out and had visited all the other horses. When I went out all of the others were running at full speed in circles and screaming. I went toward their lot with the feed pail and hollered "DOLLIE" and she and the other two got behind me as O shuffled up to the gate. I opened the gat and they walked in and I fed them. It looks like they were out for hours by the tracks. I ended up shutting Pearl up in the shelter and she will trade places with Kacie in a wire fence lot. Kacie has always stayed in he pen or lot even when she could walk out. It rained steady here for over 24 hours and things are real soggy. I will have to replace some of the 3/8" rod posts with tee posts to get into dryer ground make it solid.

I hope you find where they are getting out. Once one of mine find a way out and I fix it they go to that spot and test it. Some times I have to put three posts four feet apart where there is only one normally go get them stopped.
I got my fence repaired and the ropes tightened. I switched Pearl with Kacie and buttoned up a wiring project in my shed. I also helped Dixie cook a 22 pound turkey. Pearl is not all that happy in with Cloud but she will get over it in time. Kacie is in with her daughter and grand son. They acted like they had been together all the time. Not even a look at each other. Time now to go get a few bales of hay and a couple bales of bedding. After a little rest. By the time I get back it will be feeding time. I planed to clean up in the shed and put tool where they belong but that didn't work out. I weld up gates in the shed and need two more bad. It is almost impossible to walk thru let alone set up an area the size of a gate. There is always tomorrow if I still need it.
