Discipline for Sparky to teach him the word No and Kiss to stop biting was achieved in just a few weeks at feeding time twice a day. Prancer is a different story. He comes up to me and tries to sneak a bite. He has not actually bit me though. Yesterday he only made one attempt with a sharp no from me and then just wanted to give a ramie kiss. I was sitting in a chair and he would go all the way around rubbing the chair or me as he went around and jam his nose on me. This morning he would act like he was going to bite getting a sharp no from me. When I held his catch strap he would strike with first one front foot and then the other still getting the sharp no. After each sharp no I petted him all over and got a kiss. After about ten minutes he gave up and walked off to eat hay. He does come to the gate for a hug when I go out to them and gives a kiss when I lean over the gate most of the time. This morning he had in his mind he was going to get his way regardless. He was four months old yesterday and actually handles real well over all. I get a kick out of how different their personalities are and how long it takes to get them to do as I ask. With 14 of these spoiled babies, none act the same. I love it.
