It just dawned on me that perhaps it is not too late to do a christmas. holiday card exchange.. who wants to head it up and put it together. i kept the list from last year. and with a few minor tweeks we could use that one. ANYONE WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

Oh, Oh, Oh....pick me!!!!  I'll do it!  Ummmm, what do I need to do? Just keep the list updated and distributed? So I guess all who want to participate, send me your mailing address. I would imagine we would need to get any cards going overseas in the mail around the end of November. I know for me, to send a card to Canada takes about 2 weeks. I normally don't send Christmas cards out but I had so much fun last year sending them out to y'all and getting so many cards in the mail! I'm looking forward to it. graphics-3d-smileys-753431 |

I'm in as well, but my address has changed. I don't have my new postal code memorized yet, but will pm you my new address once I look it up. Getting the keys tonight!

MM if you want to do it than that is ok. and apollo. congrats on the move and i suppose we could all notify mm of our address and she could send to the rest of us.
i will mention on fb about our card exchange so others that do not come here often can see it and come on here and join the fun.

This is going to sound stupid but count me out. I hope nobody is offended, you are all wonderful and I do wish you the best Christmas wishes. But I find that even thinking about that time of year and what I was doing right before the blood clot is giving me some really negative feelings. It doesn't make any sense but I feel like I want to be doing things very differently this year so the negativity from last year doesn't overshadow the season for me. Is that a form of slight PTSD? Maybe. I have an appointment with my cancer surgeon the anniversary of the day I went in to emergency and last year I was booked with him for the day after. I rationally know that the likelihood of anything happening again exactly a year later are so slim it's ridiculous but it gives me a bad feeling. I just want to get past all of that and then I'll feel like I've really moved on.

I am not offended. you have the right to have your feelings and say them. especially on here. and i am sure that you will be fine. and all those negative thoughts will just vanish. You have been thru so much this past year, and we can only hope and pray that the next years are going to be better for you.

nhg - I don't think anyone here would be offended in the least by your choice. I pray you will be able to get through this time of year and can continue to live free of any fear brought on by last year's awful events. We all love you and respect you and your decisions.

But this year I won't have any treats in them.
