It was a great weekend. We only had a shower come through. Thursday night. But dry the rest of the weekend. I didn't ride as much. My hip and back were bothering me. Sugar's walk is a hard hitting and jarred me a lot. I was missing my Reno!! She did good but the hussy wouldn't stand long enough at the picnic table for me to get on. Then on the trail when we stopped for a break she was antsy. But otherwise she was great. She led the ride out and back the first day. She only spooked at a few stumps but nothing I worried about. I just made her go up to them. Rawhide was da bomb for Tony. Didn't take as many pics. One reason is it's the same trails. The fish fry was awesome as always. The campground owner Greg dressed up for Halloween. He does 2 weekends of it. He is a great person and is really a good host. Met up with all the girls from our all girls ride we do. We are already planning on that.

Ron is Judy's husband and Ray is Jean's hubby and he is 70. They are my idols of the trail riding world. Also great people and lots of fun to be with around a camp fire.

A great bunch of people to ride with and their ages are amazing. still out there on horses. and the costume. well i bet that is Katlyn???

Sorry to hear sugar is not as smooth as you had hoped. Doesn't sound too bad for her second ride out. Love the pics. I ride with a 74 yr old lady and she is my idol! Her horses have gotten shorter and she went from riding a fiery Morgan to a more laid back Rocky Mountain horse but she rides a couple of times a week!

Beautiful trails, nice ride, and good people. Can't ask for better than that!  I'm so impressed by the ages of the riders with you. I definitely hope I'm still riding at their age!
