So somehow Casey and Sophie are infested with fleas. I have treated 3 times with Frontline (every 14-21 days as recommended by a vet friend) with NO improvement, if anything they are worse. My friend said she stopped selling Frontline because it just doesn't seem to work anymore. She suggested I try Advantage Multi or Comfortis. Anyone have experience with either of these? I know with the Multi they really should be heartworm tested before use since it also treats heartworms. After doing some research online, there is Advantage II that I can get OTC; it doesn't treat worms and all that, just fleas. The Advantage is a spot-on, Comfortis is a chewable that supposedly starts killing adult fleas within like 30 minutes.
I'm also almost to the point where I need to bomb the house but after reading the reviews for the different brands online people either seem to love them (5 stars) or hate them (1 star) but with no consistency between or among brands. Anyone have recommendations for house foggers too or other suggestions about what to do?
Shane is completely fed up and I'm getting there too.

THIS IS FOR MY DOG. AND YOU SHOULD NOT USE DOG FLEA ON CATS AND VISE VERSA. That being said the advantage multi for heart worm worked on my dogs in a flash. and they are getting a second treatment. if your cats are getting fleas again than your environment needs to be treated also. either bomb the house with flea treatment or find out from an exterminator what can be done for it. good luck

Ugh, I hate fleas! I hope you are able to get rid of them quickly. I use Comfortis for our dog as she doesn't do well with spot-on flea treatments. It works beautifully. Good luck!

Have you been bathing them too?
You really need to confine them to one area, an outdoor building if poss and fumigate your house, they must keep getting re infected from somewhere, then once house is good and if they are ok bring them back, Im surprised the frontline isnt working but maybe it is and theres still some in the house.
