It is interesting that fed as a community the horses all know their dish and place and yes every so often one has to put his nose into the dish of the neighbor.. you have done a great job to keep those little darlings warm and comfy . Thanks everyone, I went out this afternoon to work on a stall door for the barn and all four were asleep inside. I started to reach for my camera and go that way. Just a few feet and one looked up and then they all got up. I would have loved to get a picture like that before it has become weathered.

Oh God, how many cutness on the same place. It looks great, and horses seem happy with it too.

Do you ever Wish to have a big horse for riding? If my health was better and more room at the place I live I would love to have a team of halflingers. I had riding horses in my younger years. I am 77 with Neuropathy that makes it impossible to mount a saddle horse. It is a job to climb a flight of stairs. I suppose my riding skills at the time would have been classified as trail riding. I just rode around my farm. I practiced with friends to compete in saddle bronc contesting but never entered a contest because of strong objections of my late wife. When younger I trained Shetland ponies to drive and ride for a pony farm to make them more sellable. I have been a horse lover for most of my life. This latest late life endeavor was intended to raise and train miniature horses as service horses for the handicapped. I didn't intend to fall into that same category which has slowed my ability to train as I wish.
