Zippy has gone back to the trainer from this Spring, while hubby and I are away over the next 2 weeks. I dropped him off Sunday at 3pm-ish and got a pm later from her last night, saying that she'd already taken him on a trail ride the same day
She plans to work him every other day while he's there. I am soooo glad she likes him and 'gets' him. LOL, he knew where he was after he got there. Went right into his same stall, and went right to eating. He wasn't stressed about being there at all

That is so exciting. Glad Zippy was so relaxed and at home. What a weight off of your mind and a trail ride after he has been having lessons is good for him. This has been the summer of "Zippy" and I am so happy for you!

Red...this is some of the best $$ you have ever spent!
You're happy, your horse is happy and that makes both of you content and able to work together in harmony...
I see that as a blue ribbon winning situation regardless of any angle you look at it from.
Enjoy your vacation with your hubby... ...

He's definitely making headway HL,.., so happy about that Loving Boulder, CO., very cool place. Day 1 was Denver, did not like so much,., construction everywhere ,.., Walking and talking and did not notice a 3-4 inch difference in the sidewalk,.., Fell down and spent the afternoon in our hotel room, icing down my knee. Getting TOO OLD for that kind of $hit^ Tomorrow we drive up into the Rockies,., Trail Ridge Road, highest paved surface in the US, 12,000+ feet in elevation.
