Would really like to get a Myler low port sweet iron double jointed snaffle
Decided I could part with this black bitless, headstall, rein since I already have the bosal, etc.
The braided headstall came with a braided throat latch strap but it was unreasonably short so I replaced it with a leather one. The conaway buckles work really well to hold the headstall on to the bitless part. I used to be concerned that the action of the bitless would clamp to tight around Peaches' muzzle but it doesn't happen. What I don't like is how much the ends of the bitless hang and swing around, it's a personal thing with me, doesn't bother Peaches. The reins are very comfortable but have some wear to them. I like them and I would keep them but I think I need to add them to the headstall and bitless to get the value up there for the trade.
