We decided to add a gate to the upper field. This is also where I'm going to build a run in shed. This is part of the original fence. So we are putting in a new corner post and re hanging the wire. Should be a tad stronger when were done.
New gate. It's just sitting there until tomorrow. Waiting for cement to set up
Setting the corner post. We still have to knock some knots off of it. to make it look better. Plus put in the brace post.
Section of fence we took the wire down. It's a short section.
This is all new fencing.
This how far we have gotten.
Looking at it from the new gate.

Looks good! I like the rough post look.
I thought about working on fence today also. Mowed some back yard, moved some tractors and machinery around instead. Then the Exfinity race dominated the rest of the daylight hours. Was going to take horse pictures today but the storm last night all night gave them mud to take baths in. They looked a little better at chore time tonight.

All the cedar post were cut off the property. The telephone poles the electric company gave us when they replaced poles. They even cut them in 8ft lengths for me. We have a ways to go to get it finish. I bought a hydraulic t-post driver. So that will help a lot setting t post It's only broke down me, and my SIL who is on disability. So we do what we can do. We have done a lot since we bought the place.

It looks so neat and tidy. Great job. I like the stone supports too, looks like they are wrapped in fencing too.

The stone cages aren't around the post. We just made a ring out of fence wire and attached it to the post and then filled it with rocks. It keeps the corner post from pulling it. Today we will finish up the gate and that section. Then I don't know if we are going to take out a few small trees along the fence line and start on that again. Once we get that done we can start setting post again and continue on down the hill to the bottom field. But we need to really start on the run in shed. Since I won't build a barn this year. Due to the truck taking that money from me.
