HL... Will need waterproof blanket and sheet for Duke... Not sure yet of size as he is still gaining weight and I think he will change sizing as he fills in more. Thinking though 80-82 with his body length...
Have anything?
And still trying bits to find "the one".... so far he is OK in a single joint snaffle but must have a curb chain and some leverage. Using my short shank broken pelham but want to try my solid mouth short shank pelham. Anything "western" available??
Michael had a lesson today on him...first one. Better than I thought he would be but we need to do some serious work. Think my paint horse is going to be the competition horse for this year.... ...

I know i have a plaid sheet i will check the size. as for bits that could be used for wester, curbs with low ports. as for blankets let me know the size i know i have some. i just hope someone could use some of the leathers from bridles that i have in the box, with harness pieces. .

OK hl... I will have to measure Duke and see if that fits his size... He is very long and lanky. Finally, he is again putting weight on that I can see today. Felt like we were never going to get it going again...
He is still to thin for my liking but so much better than when he arrived... Still sunken flanks, prominent wither and his back is still "bony" among other things. Guessing right now I'm close to the 200 pounds added mark and still some to go on his frame. When I look back he was skinny!! ...

Each one of these are $10.00 plus shipping, they have been used and are not in new conditon, but well worth the money. the bit with the chin strap is heavier and has not been used more than a dozen times.

Thank you HL. I'm researching bits so appreciate seeing them so I know if they'd be a good choice
