After I was done feeding this morning I got my camera and drove up to the north lot to get some pictures. When I got there Prancer was laying down in the hay and oats straw. I called his name and all he would do is move his ears. I guess this is from two weeks of rocking him twice a day. Prancer was one month old yesterday on the 20th of Aug.
I went into the lot and he lifted his head and laid it back down. I rubbed his neck and side and he still didn't move. I took hold of his front leg and mover it around and he still just laid there. He didn't get up until I pulled on his catch strap.
I was able to get him to move out for a better picture and my camera battery was dead.

He's so cute. What is his colour? Will it change as he gets older?

He's so cute. What is his colour? Will it change as he gets older? I thought he would be a buckskin like his grandmother but the black has already turned light brown. Most will change color after the first winter. His main body has changed in the first month also to more of a cream.
