I an a 77 year old male with 14 miniature horses. I own and operate a plastic factory that mainly manufactures wheelchair wheels that is located on our 80 acre farm. I live 15 miles from the farm on 8.9 acres where I have the miniature horses. I actually spend a lot more time with the horses than I do at the factory. Our goal is to raise mini horses under 30 inches. Our largest horse is 34 inches and we have four others almost that tall. I don't do the shows or parades. I am working with one to be a service horse for myself. I have neuropathy which makes it hard for me to do a lot of walking without a cane or walker. I plan on using Dandy Boy rather than a walker where I can. I use a wheelchair at the factory to get around because of the distance I have to travel inside the factory. I love reading about and seeing pictures of other horse lovers miniature horses.
I rock all of my foal and when they fall asleep they snore. I am the old man in the picture and the colt is named Dollie's Prancing Star and called Prancer

Welcome. Prancer is adorable. Who's the puppy in the first picture? That is Rusty. He is my sidekick when I am outside or inside. When I rake hay he is along side me round after round unless he finds a mouse. When the mouse is dispatched he is back beside the tractor looking under the windrows for more. He is the last of the big game hunters as long as the game is no larger than a mouse. He will chase a rabbit if it is running away. If it stops he is done chasing it. He protected me after I had shoulder surgery. The two or so weeks I had to sleep in the chair after surgery he slept right on me.

Welcome dickel! Great pictures, you must have a nice, comfy lap! I haven't been around mini horses much but there are mini donkeys where we board and they're so sweet. We were out there tonight and the colt is so cuddly and loves to be snuggled. What a doll. Anyway, we're also in Alberta, Canada.

Thank You Horselady for the invite and thanks for the welcomes. After checking on the posting members I didn't find other male posters. Having 13 Grand kids and 21 Great Grand kids with the largest share girls being the only male in a bunch of girls is not an unusual thing. I have many old pictures that I can share and have ordered a body camera with a remote that I hope will allow me to take many new pictures to share. Almost every morning when I come in from feeding I have cute stories about one or more things that these little horses do or the way they react to something that happens that I just have to tell Dixie my wife. I should record them. My short term memory is kind of bad. Prancer has started to rub his head up and down my leg like a cat when I rub his neck. Then again my short term memory is not all that good either.
Two Great Grand kids and one of their friends with Babydoll and her colt Dandy boy in 2013.
The same time with my one Grand Daughter who is a missionary.
A Great Grand Daughter the same day with Kricket the first mini we bought years ago. I won't bore yall with more pictures for now.
