And I know you guys know this But, for me, its the perfect backyard barn!! Its so easy to maneuver in, holds everything I need under one roof, and is just the right size for me. I am so happy when I get to 'hang out' out there I've got my little sitting area, my tack room, my hay storage, mower/manure spreader, and 2 stalls with room for more. Love it!! apple (of course I have some housekeeping to catch up on, in there, this fall, but thats more fun than the house!!) Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

It is wonderful red! When I build a new barn, I may pick your brain about it.

Its A LOT work to keep things neat and tidy, but even the vet told me our farm was a lovely setting I'm not sure 37 acres is actually 'little' ,., it certainly seems MASSIVE when I'm mowing and weeding,.., Holy crap, its exhausting!!

I'm going to have to show my husband! Ours will need to be redone between the hurricane blowing part of the roof off and a fire burning another part of it....3 years after the hurricane and 2 years after the fire and nothing's fixed....it'll probably be a while before I can get my husband off his butt to fix or build me a new barn. In the meantime, we have shelters and a stall in the front "shed" but I want my barn fixed.
Lovely little barn

OK I LOVE your barn! It's just so cute, and roomy and perfect! It truly is a lovely little place. I could definitely see myself making myself at home in something like that

No kidding. On the one hand I enjoy being around other people and I've learned a lot by seeing other people's experiences but I also get so sick of people who do stupid things or are judgemental or think they know everything but don't. I dream of having our own place again but I can't see it ever happening. Acreages are so expensive now and our county is bringing in new rules regarding how much land needed per animal so we'd have to buy a bigger place. It couldn't be too far from a hospital because of my issues, either. So I guess we'll be boarding forever.

There's definitely pro's and con's of both that's for sure. No drama is huge. You can do what you want, when you want. If you want to go for late night snuggles with your ponies you can! AND at the end of the day, YOU make the rules! Makes life a lot easier I could see that!
