I make jams and jellies all the time and the best ones are in the box of certo . you will need that to help get your jam. one hint is to read the direction 100 percent before starting . have on hand your jars and of course butter to keep the foam from forming. and lemon juice.( i use the bottle type) and make sure that cooked jam really comes to a rolling rapid boil and it stays that way and let it boil for a couple of minutes.
i mix raspberries. strawberries and blackberries. for one. another i mix blueberries. raspberries and strawberries. i use white grapes when they are sale you will need about 5 pounds
and get sugar in the 10 pound bags because each receipe calls for 7 cups of sugar.

i know my mom made them all the time and i decided i would do them also. when she was visiting me for the week we made some jams together and it made her happy. today i will get peaches and make peach jam. with chunks of the fruit. oh and as another hint. i melt canning wax and leave about 1/4 inch from the top of the jar and gently pour in the wax. when that is hard than i put my lids on have had jams stay for years and no spoilage.
