For my birthday, I had some cavelletti made to use in my 'at home' arena. I think they turned out great, and can't wait to play with them with Zippy. I especially loved that she will paint them any color that you want,., so of course, I painted them to go with my barn. Attempting to resize the pics now

Aww, thanks MM,.., hoping they help Zippy focus on where his feet are going, and help him lower his head and round his back. The boy loves to crank that head up. Lots of work still left to be done with my Zippy boy, but the lessons are helping so much (especially for me)

Looks like tons of fun! Once my field is not like a skating rink I need to work on some poles with Steve! Thank goodness we did not get as much rain last night as other areas/

Looks like tons of fun! Once my field is not like a skating rink I need to work on some poles with Steve! Thank goodness we did not get as much rain last night as other areas/ I have used cavelletti in the past, and really enjoyed watching the horse drop its head, round its back, and lift itself over the poles. It really teaches self carriage, plus its FUN to ride over the cavelletti. I told my instructor and she said to space them 3-4 feet apart, use 1 pole to start then, then do 3 poles for the above self carriage (which Zippy NEEDS!). Also you can stack them, they are all one piece, so setting them up is easy. Can't wait to play

Great looking cavalletti. nice job painting them. now for a suggestion get a white pipe you know the kind i mean and put the pipe in front of the cavaletti about a foot for a strick off point so he knows where to put his feet. and he will learn as time goes how to round his back and lift.

I've played with them a few times with Zippy, but he just wants to jump over them,.., we need some practice. These are same colors that i am painting my run in shed this fall also
