People are so cruel - and materialistic. I got a new couch last year cost me $1000 it is covered in sheets in a vain attempt to keep it from getting too dirty. But the 2 dogs and 3 cats - not to mention the 2 teen agers are here to stay - there will always be other couches.

I have, actually, heard of animals surrendered (abandoned) because they don't match a new color scheme. I just know what I'd like to do to the couch, just to cause mental pain; then cause some serious physical pain.

I read your posts, I didn't read the story, stuff like that makes me cry and feel bummed for way too long and way too much. We bought a leather sectional for the express purpose of not worrying about dog and cat hair. I'm not too happy that the cats clawed it up pretty much already (bonded leather, not the real thing) but hey, now it's broken in, right?! We bought really nice tapestry covers that keep sliding off so I got rid of them LOL Didn't get rid of the cats and dog... or us and our dirty boots and jeans either for that matter. Another reason why we don't have any carpet in the house, only laminate and a waterproof linoleum like tile in the bathroom and laundry room.
People can be cruel and stupid, but you folks make me feel so much better about the world, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Tiger Tim was given more love than he ever have (with "those" owners since he was three months old). He ended up having cancer, they fought, he loved his new humans. He lost the battle over the weekend. He died, peacefully in very loving arms. Damn, now I'm crying again. While I'm still waiting for Sky's biopsy results.

Poor Tiger Tim. He and George are playing at the Rainbow Bridge for sure!
Have you called the vet office to see if maybe they just haven't gotten the time to call you yet? Might be worth a phone call just to see.
