As per my previous thread on repurposed chairs, the idea was mentioned to start a thread for others to show examples of things they have 'repurposed' and found a new life for. I'm a huge fan of Pintrest, so the ideas are endless there. Lets show off our repurposed items, our creativity, and the new life given to old items. My first item is an old marble top wash stand, turned into my upstairs bathroom vanity. My Mother collected antiques and loved this wash stand,.., I wasn't sure what to do with it after she passed away, but didnt want to part with it. Hubby suggested incorporating it into our upstairs bath, which actually saved us some $$ from having to buy a vanity, and went with the antiquey theme of our house. Wow, I love that redzip! My daughter didn't like the furniture or the price when she went bedroom furniture shopping. So she made this set from a pattern in a woodworking book. She has since made a second end table. ![]() Attachment Deleted |

Both of those projects look wonderful, i have absolutely no talent for that and no vision to redo anything. i admire people that can turn trash to treasure.
