We had a terrible storm on Monday. The drifts are unbelievable. All day today the temperature has been -30 celsius which is about -22 F. Tonight we're supposed to get windchills of -42 celsius which is -43 F. Yuck!!

We'd gladly take your temperature mingiz! That's about what it should be here at this time of the year or even warmer. Hl4l, that's too warm, I like seasons. Today we're at -30 C again or -22 F but with the wind chill it's -52 C or -61 F. Yup, imagine that. They say we're the coldest place on the planet right now. It's crazy. And our BO has her over 30 year old horse without a blanket because she doesn't believe in them. He's skinny and needs the help. I feel so sorry for him.

It is "record" temps for us too... to warm!! ...our weather is too. I would love the upper 60's - low 70's we are supposed to be having...you can still have the frigid cold. I enjoy the cold but not sitting in the deep freezer. Think warm thoughts, a short winter and early spring.... balloon Be safe out there everyone in these crazy weather spells we are all encountering...

NHG just tell the barn owner the horse needs a blanket at that age and 30 is really 90 in human and if she were 90 wouldn't she like a blanket to be warm and all that mingiz, maybe you could mail it to horselover4life. lol

We've been getting flurries here this morning. Mingiz, I love seeing your pretty pictures, but you can keep all that deep stuff out there!

Love the pictures mingiz! I love how you have so many trees and hills. Where we live it's flat and there are groups of trees here and there but that's it. Just prairie.

Such wonderful photos, and the buffalo? some of those photos would make great puzzles. The buffalo ones were a tad grainy. It's hard to hold the camera steady at that distance. Plus the truck was vibrating... I always look for them when we go that way.. Maybe I will get lucky and catch them up closer... I see you
