forum.horsetopia.com/horse-stories/106578-sad-day-me.htmlI can not believe it is six years already that my personal mare has passed. she was so snotty and arrogant that we got along great. she being herd leader she had many horses to keep in line. she did not suffer. she died in her sleep after a visit from the vet the previous week and i told her it was ok to go. she had cancer. and there was nothing i could do. I have many stories of her controlling her group. and all good memories of her. i have her daughter Shamurra and that is all i need to help me remember Silly, but i really wish she were here. here is a photo of her when she was darkest dapple grey and her daughter Shamurra. as she got older she turned almost all white.

She was just beautiful HL! I know you must miss her terribly but she is waiting for you. Any pictures of Shamurra all grown up?

This is her a photo from last winter and she is with Encore her gelding leader that Silly teamed up with before she died and made him promise to always be her protector and he does.

...my personal mare has passed. she was so snotty and arrogant that we got along great. You know that is a pretty telling thing to say No wonder we all like you too I'm deeply sorry your heart got broken, but at the same time the other side of that was you had an incredibly meaningful relationship that is more precious than gold

I think of her everyday and she was truly a gift worth more than gold.
