Just got back from delivering them to the butcher. We are going to have a lot of meat from these 2. The white spotted weighed in at 336lbs and the black one was 310lbs. :)) Guess we will get the meat in about 3 weeks or so.

Then I have already made the appointment for the Angus. He goes in the 8th of April. So there will be plenty of meat at Smitsley Acres!!

Glad though that the pigs are gone. This weekend the stock will get a power washing and be ready for the Virginia trip. Got a call from Ricky yesterday to get our address to put on the Health cert. Steer is ready to go!!! Now am I ready for a 16hr haul....nope not really. But I'm sure Tony will do most of the driving. We will probably stay the night and head back the next morning. Be glad when all this is done and I can take a break. Been doing so much these last week or so. Still have next week to get through. Drs on Monday, Farrier either Tues. or Wed. Then vet Thurs. am and come back and head to my camping spot. After I get there and set up. I guess I can relax for 3 days.. I know all of this is easy peazy stuff but damn I get worked up over it all.
