So as most of you know. I haven't had a real Christmas in 3 years. So now that I have a house I got my 20 yro tree out and put it together. I wanted to put it in front of the windows. But it's to tall. Had 10ft ceilings at the last place. Not here!!! So I had to move it. 2 of the grandkids came over and they put the ornaments on it. I needed a tree skirt and so my daughter and I went to Walmart to get one. Of course they didn't have what I wanted. So I had a table cloth that worked... In the mean while I ended up getting some outside stuff. We will do that tomorrow...  Of course Sweet Pea had to make a new toy out of a paper roll..  |

Good for you, it looks great! We don't put ours up until early December.

Very nice  our tree will probally go up next weekend. I thought about moving stuff around so we could do it today but Andy has been sick for several days and is still not up to par. We go down by our other farm to a place that has horse drawn wagons, they drop you off , you cut your tree and they take you back up front. Trees run about $40 I think a bit much but we get the whole experience, then Andy and I put the lights/tinsel on and the boys put the rest on while I make chili. I think this year I'll invite Calebs girl friend to go with us. |

Sorry that Andy isn't feeling well. Caleb has a girlfriend!!! Wow he's growing up fast...Ok she is mother approved? Tell Andy that I hope he gets to feeling better.. Oh and haven't seen the package yet..Will let you know when I do...

How nice to be able to put up that tree and decorate after all this time. It was. I can't believe the tree is as old as it is. It still looks pretty good. I just wish I still had my Santa that I made out of a 2x12 that holds stockings. But when ever we get things settled around here. I plan on making another one along with a few other things I ended up giving away. Of course I will have to buy a new table saw.... hmmm |

Oh and haven't seen the package yet..Will let you know when I do... Andy is feeling better just has no voice probally a good thing Caleb ran the truck out of gas AGAIN! Iam soooooo angry with him right now. It's not the first time and it's snowing/blowing/cold he's an hour plus from home. This is weather you die in when you let something like this happen!!!! Not sure how to get him to understand that! The gas gage doesn't work but he knows how much gas he puts in it, he just "forgot" this time!!!!!! ARGHHHHH Oh and yes he has a girlfriend and one that I like even. She is welcome here and we have even shared recipes on FB, I text her private if I don't like how her texts sound and she gets back with me....you know normal teen girl drama. Levi has started wrestling, the first meet was rough but I think he will improve it's been a year and his stamina isn't back from his track injury last spring. He missed all of track, all the summer running season and 1/2 of cross country. He came back after a month in PT and went from the back of the pack to making the Regionals, he just missed going to State! Not bad for a boy who hadn't run in about 5 months!!!! So he took a couple of weeks off, is now running 3 1/2 miles in the am before school, then school, the wrestling practice then home about 6pm... Which reminds me I need to go, Iam stalling chores need to get done before I pick him up. I seen you got the package, yes I tend to really tape things up Glad you like them |
