Well it's time to start getting back in shape and getting the horses back in shape. We'll start showing and working again in 2 or 3 months, which are going to go by really fast!! I'll be showing Gus (the mule) this season and working off of my clydesdale Rayna (I'm a wrangler at my barn and help take people out on trail rides spring-fall, and this will be Raynas first season working) So it's time to start getting everyone (including myself) back in action, I've really be slacking in the cold!! I had some lovely rides today, and I think today was a really good starting point! Gus's 4th ride since November Gus's 2nd canter under saddle since November Took Rayna out in the  ! |

Gus is quite a handy little mount isn't he? Looks like a smooth ride too. I think he has just the sweetest little expression in your avatar. Was Rayna not happy walking through that ? The way her head was bobbing I kind of got the idea it was a bit deep. Anyway, they both are doing very very well, you're doing just great with them, I hope you share your pointers with the rest of us. |

Rayna loves being outside and in the but yes it is deep, a little over a foot right now. She's a star outside but tries to constantly buck me off in the indoor she hates it in there and goING around in circles. So I just let her do What she loves |

Looks like fun! It always feels so good having a good work out with your mount  Gus seems like he would be really fun to ride My friend has a clydes too and she's always happier outside too! Must be a clyde thing! |

How exciting that you will be showing Gus. I really don't know anything about showing. Will he be in a mule class? I would love to know more about it.
