The first fall here in the Ozarks. We have about 8 inches and it's still snowing. So I took a few pics this morning.

No! I'm not enjoying it. >:(I have been out shoveling so the dogs can find a green spot to go in. Just came in from getting my truck unthawed and moved it so Tony could plow out my spot. Getting ready to go to town and pick up Short from work. I'm going to ride along to see how the roads are. I'm suppose to have Sweet Pea at the vet tomorrow morning for a teeth cleaning. If the roads are bad. I'm not going. Not worried about me just the idiots around here can't drive when it dry let alone snowy roads. The horses were out by the trees and with on them Zebra JR blended in so well I couldn't see him behind Geno. I whistled and he popped his head up. They are all standing in the barn now. The is pretty and it wasn't a heavy so that made things better for shoveling. I'll get some pics on the way to town..

More great pictures! But I'm not seeing a Cedar Waxwing. I see Cardinals, Juncos (the gray and white birds) and White-Crowned Sparrows (with the striped heads).

Sorry me too - I thought cedar wax wings were bigger. Juncos and the sparrows we have so many of them around because of the cow feed in the bunks - As the days get longer they are getting louder!

I believe the cedar wax wings are about the same size as the cardinals, and can often be seen together at the same feeder, but I think the two lighter colored birds in the picture are lady cardinals. They are all beautiful.

Well today I got to play on the Wench! Wanted to see what it would do in the . So I took it and Tony was on the 4 wheeler and we went around the property, then rode the dirt road to the state road to see what it looked liked. Then we stopped in at the neighbor up on the hill. It did great!!!
Then I came back inside and brought pellets in for tonight. Then we found the hose under the and filled the stock tank as the spigot had thawed out. We put it up on the porch and drained it so it won't be a hassle next time. One day I'm going to have frost free spigots!!!
Then I came back inside and started on pulling wall paper again. Got a section done. Then I decided to actually pot-stirringcook my self some dinner. So I had tapila, brown rice and broccoli. I must say it was good.. smilie dancing
