I have a Black & Decker brand, 4 slice toaster/convection oven. It is black in color, removable crumb tray, large cooking tray and 2 shelves, 1 is pull-out as you open the door. I can bake, toast, broil, keep warm settings. A timer and adjustable toasting color range, also has heating controls from "warm" through 450*. I use it near everyday honestly for something. I bought it is Walmart and have had it about 3 years now with never any trouble given. It was probably under $50 as I refuse to spend more than that for what I wanted was a simple toaster and got this instead. I love it and would buy another if this one died....
I am near positive it is this one...sure looks the same to me and same features... www.walmart.com/ip/Black-Decker-Convection-Toaster-Oven-Black-TRO4075B/12533802

Oh....OK
Well, then they have lots of those also.... www.walmart.com/browse/home/toasters-ovens/4044_90548_90546_90774?cat_id=4044_90548_90546_90774&facet=category:Toasters
I checked off selections of **** stars or better and $0 - $30.00 and came up with several.....
I haven't had a "toaster" toaster in forever. I find the toaster oven is easier to fit a bagel, and I can get more use of it for reheating pizza slices or making snacks even a meal. I use it often to warm Italian bread to serve with lasagna, ziti or spaghetti...
I'm not much help either....last time I saw and used one like those linked above, I was a kid {a long time ago!}
sorry....

You're not doing anything wrong, some break and some don't because quality is not controlled to any great degree. Its the luck of the draw. Paying for people who don't produce wigits and therefore earn their own pay is an expense not worth the cost. I don't have my glasses on so I can't tell you which one I bought but I did buy it at WalMart and like HL I didn't want to spend too much but I did buy the features I wanted and not the ones I didn't. There are a lot of toasters out there in that $20 to 30 price range, I say just buy the one you want. If it lasts great, if not, no big harm

Hugs, funny you should mention that, I've been looking for good steak knives and I can't find any that are not made in China, even the brands I know that are European are now made in China:(
I ended up buying a Hamilton beach toaster that keeps it warm too, liked that feature:)

I bought knives that are all of a piece about 3 or 4 yrs ago at Walnart too i suppose and they sharpen well and are now putting on the ones I use the most but they are still really good. Provably China but I'm not convinced its always a bad thing. Its how the manufacturer spec'd the product that matters but knives with tangs in a handle ALWAYS loosen up over time and I HATE that. I provably spend something south of $200

All my good steak knives came from the Outback many years ago when they were selling their knives. i have 24 of them and i would say i have only used 12 over the 25 years. they still cut great and the other 12 are in a storage box. somewhere. lol
