Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it wasn't uncommon for them to start leaking up to two weeks before they give birth? Like I said I could be wrong

You are not wrong, but in my experience every mare that have given birth in my barn started liking only night or two before the birth. That I why we were confused. Oh well few days is not long. Baby will be here soon :-)

Still nothing. 10.2.is her day to give birth. Looks like she is going to wait for it.

Cute avatar Lipizzan. I had a kind of double take on the date ;). To us we'd read that as October 2nd and I was going to comment that my oldest son was born October 6th. Then I realized that its January!! LOL So I realized ah-ha February 10th P-)

I called a company in the states to see if an order date was day-month-year or month-day-year and she laughed at me!!! I guess in canada we do both sometimes get's kinda confusing LOL |

I got all excited when I saw you had made a new comment on this thread, Lip. I was sure I was going to come on here and see pictures of a beautiful new baby. Oh well, it won't be much longer now. So exciting!!!

The baby is born. It's a boy. She gave birth right in the meal time, and was eating while delivering haha. Little Conversano Gaetana is born in 7:30 am an hour ago. He is healthy and we are now waiting for him to get up and suckle.

There will be pictures. I am all day in the barn. When I get inside in the evening I will put pictures. It is tricky to do it over a phone.
