Hey everyone!! I'm Kylie, I'm 28 from the beautiful hudson valley region of NY. I have had horses in my life for the last 20 years, they are my world. I currently am in college full time and I work at a trail riding and sale stable. I have 3 beautiful equines. This is Amber she is a 10 year old percheron/thoroughbred cross. I have had her since she was an unbroke 4 year old. We do equitation over fences, dressage and trails. This is Rayna, she is a 13 year old Clydesdale. I got her in October, she was a rescue. She was terrified of having anything put on her back. She would stand and tremble. She was a broodmare until she was 10 then donated to a therapeutic center. When I got her all she knew was how to walk around under saddle while someone led her. She was also incredibly head shy. We now walk and trot under saddle and trailride. I hope to start doing some basic dressage work with her soon. And this is Gus (the inspiration for my screen name) He is technically not mine, I'm free leasing him, but he might as well be mine. He belongs to my barn owner, she even refers to him as mine. And told me if she ever couldn't keep him she would give him to me. He's mostly done trails, and he jumps, he gets shown every summer at fair in the 2'3 hunters. I'm hoping to start doing some dressage and cross country with him.

Welcome to out great group. Love your herd. Especially the mule. I want one so badly. Had one but he was to much for my old bones. Under saddle great on the ground bad!!! So I'll stick with my fox trotters and walking horses. I'm originally from Md and moved to the Missouri Ozarks. Your area is beautiful country...

And just one advice. The nose part on that purple bitless is to low. If not fitted property bitless can cause more damage then bit. :-)

Welcome from Northern Ontario Love the clydesdale -- definitely a soft spot! also that is awesome that you get to free lease Gus, Free leasing is great enjoy the horse without the cost LOL I might want to pick your brain at some point about jumping mules. A friend of mine get's me to go out and give her "tips" when it comes to english riding/jumping but I have not a clue to the brain of a mule works LOL! Never mind tips and tricks to get him going over fences anyways again Welcome and enjoy!
