We have hauled out for four trail rides since moving here - and I figured instead of creating a thread every time. We would just put them all in one place!

Ride 1:

Nov 8th, 2014 - I am so incredibly proud of my pony! We trailered out to the park where Northern state hospital is and he was great! A bit spooky but all around he was great for his first time out.

Ride 2:

Nov 15th, 2014 - We went for a six mile trail ride today. He was great! It started out a bit rough, but then he was perfect for the rest of the ride! Lizard and Lily lake loop.

Ride 3:

Dec 3rd, 2014 - Great ride today at Northern state! My pony was really great. He loaded perfectly which was quite a difference from the last few times. The ride started out a bit rough - but all in all he was really good!

Ride 4:

Dec 7th, 2014 - Our ride was pretty rough today. Bo was a wild man! But I am still very proud of him. When I think about how he was when I first bought him to now it is amazing! I would have never dreamed we would be hauling out for rides. He has come a long way and even though we still have a long way to go, I am really pleased with him. At Northern State again!

Will add a few more photos later as my computer is being dumb.

That is a great idea to have all your excursions on one thread. he looks amazing, like he has been doing some trails for ages. and the scenery is fantastic. wonder who owns that old abandoned barn and property??

It is actually a old asylum built in 1909 and was closed in 1973. It was also a working farm and the patients did all the labor. It has a lot of interesting history.

Thank you! So much fun - I wish but alas no. He is kinda a stress case, we also have barely been riding as of late.

Feb 12th, 2015 - We went out on the cascade trail for 5.69 miles. It was a great ride. We encountered a lot of potentially scary stuff and our horses did great! I am really proud of my monster.

Feb 15th, 2015 - Went out for a four and a half mile ride at Les hilde. It was a pretty rough ride - they were shooting and that really scared Bilbo. But I think all in all he did quite well.

Maybe Peachie and I could get to where you the the Bil are with enough time, we may never leave Isanti County but heck, that would be pretty darn swell in itself!

Feb 16th, 2015 - Absolutely wonderful ride at Les Hilde today! We went for nearly six miles. Great horses, great company and another beautiful day. I could not be happier. Bilbo was wonderful. He had a lot of fun I think.

In the last week between the last four trail rides we went 17.8 miles in total!
