Molly the corgi came to us just a little over 10years ago as ascared puppy with stitches growing inside of her belly from a nasty spaying surgery.she was 12 pounds instead of 19 she decided she loved the farm and all the horses and all the dogs. As the years passed and she grew fatter, she got a huge mammary tumor that was not operable but she just kept going. i would often yell at her for peeing in the house on the newspapers or towel i put down on the tile. or she would eat everything in site. Just the other day she wolfed down the food i put down for the chorkie , i had my back turned for 1 minute and i yelled at her. that was the last time she ate. the next day she nibbled at her food. and only drank some milk. I took her to the vet today to have her put to sleep. and of course in the car she sits up and looks out the window after she was lying down on the mats for two days. of course she had to make me double think if i were doing the right thing at that time. But the vet concurred with me that she was shutting down. I brought her home to be buried with her dog and cat family and i could see her every day .

Good night Molly, sleep in peace. And you too HL, "peace and understanding" is how our rabbi always ended each service, seems fitting

Molly looked a little like Cleo that I used to have growing up in WP, what a cutie. I'm so sorry, that is a tough thing to go through. You gave her a wonderful life.

Your tears are drying. You still look before stepping... You still expect to see her waiting at the door...... You know in your heart Molly had a great home, a family that loved her so... With that great love came the kindness of setting her free from her pains... My thoughts are with you Jo. You did the right thing for Molly...... Your friend is now home with the others you loved so much to set free..... RIP sweet Molly... your "mommy" misses you and so loves you.

So very sorry to hear about this. My heart is aching for you and the hard decision you had to make. Even though the most loving it is never easy to say Goodbye.

I am truly sorry. It is so hard to say good bye to a dear friend. You showed great strength, compassion, and love for Molly, by allowing her to travel over the rainbow bridge as soon as she told you she was ready to go. Molly sounds like she was quite a hand full, and it sounds like she had a full and wonderful life. My heart goes out to you.
