Short went out and got a few pics of Sugar. Not the best as the weather isn't the greatest today.

I think she is going to look good. The mane and forelock were cut already. But I will let them grow out over the winter. Plus I would like to see a little more weight on her. To me she is on the skinnier side. But she has sense and that I like. I want to stick her. She isn't 15.2 like they said. Which is better for me. I'm thinking more 14.3 to 15.1 at the most. But she does have a high wither bone. Tomorrow is suppose to be warmer so I will stick her and then going to turn her out in the big field. I also have to figure a bit for her. The one he was using was like a low port with a long walking horse shank and that sucker was heavy. I don't see how she carried it in her mouth. I had never felt such a heavy bit. I have a nice low port Chris Cox bit that I will try on her and go from there...
Oh and my camera is back to working. I put one of Short's sd cards in it and it was fine. So maybe it was that the cards are wearing out. They have a right too. So I will get a new card tomorrow along with mailing cards and next year tags on the trucks...
I was busy today. Got my tree up after some modification to it. It was 7 1/2 ft tall and too tall for the ceiling so that I cols put it in the front window. Now it's the perfect size. I had Lint cut the bottom off about 6inches an it is a perfect fit now. If the weather is good Lint is going to put up my house lights and the out door ornament.. He's a good hubby....most of the time...
He called his boss to see about getting a load west bound and he already had him going to Albany NY. So the boss said he would run it through his head and for Lint to call him in the morning and then I will know if I'm going west...Hope so!!!

Oh Mingie, she is beautiful! Even looking at stills she looks elegant, like she floats, I bet she does too. You and your back and every other part will be So Happy! Sure she's on the thin side now, but not for long, you have a really REALLY nice place. Its funny to hear someone say going to NY is heading west

No No wag finger When he goes back to work Wed morning his load was already scheduled to Albany. But he is trying to get it changed for a load going west so I can get a free ride to Albuquerque. Thanks on the place. We are slowly getting it together.. Tony and Corrin the middle child have been working to clear out a trail through the woods side so we can put fence up through there. They pulled cedars and the mature cedars that are in line of the fence will be used as post. We are just going to cut the tops out and use the base that is still in the ground as fence post instead of cutting them down. Can't wait to get back and watch the guy take out all the over grown stuff that would take us forever to do. Then we will work on getting a pasture established...I really want to start on the stalls. That way I will have more localized fertilizer to put in the spreader...Plus my horse can be in them on nasty nights!!

She is lovely!! I'm like you, I'd want to put a little more meat on her bones, and let that mane and forelock grow out, but even being a little on the slim side, and having a bad "hair cut", she's still lovely!! I'll bet she's going to think she died and went to heaven now that she's at your place!

Oh bummer, so he has to drive an empty truck? That's too bad.
Your cedar fence sounds great, we're too far north to get those trees up here. Do have juniper shrubs but then I think that fence would only hold in three legged mice.

He delivers it and them the company will have him pick up another load and them bring it back to Springfield. Very seldom that he has an empty trailer.
We don't have junipers here..

Glad to hear no empty trucks. That's still cool to go to NY to my ears. An exotic location although they sure do get the . That is not all that appealing when it is so gosh darn much

She's pretty, lover her colour, I once butchered my horses mane like that lol! When I was young!
I'm not a big mare fan, had two, never again, they cause so much trouble in the herd and are moodier than me, which is saying something, hope she works out for you:)

This will be the 5th mare I have ever owned. 1st one I got at an auction. Had a 2 in 1 package. Sold mare kept baby and raised her and then sold her. The 2nd one was a paly mare I got as a 3 yro with 60 days under saddle. She was my heart horse. I loss her in a freak accident. Then I had a another paly. Good horse but had a few issues and sold her. Then I had my paly paint. Who was the perfect horse. But I couldn't ride the trot anymore and sold her back to the lady I got her from. This mare doesn't seem to be moody and is good so far in the herd. Libby is the trouble maker of the mares out there. But she leaves tomorrow morning for Colorado to her new home. I'm going to try and get on Sugar this weekend for the first time. I took her out of the field to groom her and she was a tad nervous of the new surroundings. But never did anything stupid. Walked her up to the pool and I slapped the tarp and she planted and snorted but nothing else. So we'll see how she does. Even if she doesn't work out I can get my money back out of her easily. But I'm hoping that she will be a good trail horse. If not I will get rid if her and go back to my trusted Reno. And if Billie Joe wants to ride Reno I can always hop on Rawhide..

Mingiz, would you mind diagramming all of that for me? JK Someone once said that they feel rich when they have choices, sounds like you're very rich
