At the equine affair i spoke to the president of the company and i was impressed with their product and professionalism, seems there is a convenient way to do fecal testing and ways to deal with parasites. www.parascreen.com

Interesting but I wonder how the cost compares to the vet doing the screening (assuming your vet does that kind of thing).

I understand it is 12.00 and that covers postage both ways and the test. at least you get results. a vet was here to do a boarders horses and also shots and i never got a result of the fecal. yes my bad i am not calling for the results as i know the horse is ok. he gets wormed every 3 months.

I looked at their site and it's 19.95 per test and a 1.00 shipping fee. That can get expensive for a herd of horses.

That does sound high. i will ask my vet on monday what they charge for fecal test. just for comparison. the gentleman at the show said 12.00 and i never thought to check on the site itself. sorry.

My vet charges 30$ to do it, so its pretty comparable in price. Definitely a good option though!
