OMG that is just terrible! I wonder how it started? Hopefully they weren't using heaters in the barn.
Yep, definitely hugging my four-legged and two-legged family members.

I would hope that all were dead from smoke inhalation before the actual inferno occurred. The smoke was beyond belief....billowing even when the flames were so intense.
There were no mentions from anyone who was interviewed of hearing screams, ...and there were many witnesses to this fire burning, raging out of control. I doubt there are any remains left of the animals after this inferno raged for so much time.
I hope there is a cause and it is let known. Why? Not to be morbid, but to learn from a tragic event so it not happen again to anyone ever!

It seems it was the size of a football field. imagine the expanse of it, i would assume may stalls and holding areas and i heard there was also living /house in there as there were people as residents. and perhaps an indoor arena. yes learn from this. apparently dry hay, or some of it newly cut and it ignited. smoke detectors and fire alarms should be installed in barns. and the wiring be in conduit pipe and the system checked all the time. at least once a month and the monitoring thru an alarm company, not just a siren that sounds. and what if you are not home or sleeping. and do not hear the siren
such a drastic happening in the lives of these people. and perhaps no way to make it right.
