Well Tony and I had a great weekend of riding. I'm sore as hell. Bur JR being a brat didn't help. He isn't the best in groups. So here is the link to all the pics I took. I liked the camp ground and the trails there. Going to go back. In 2 weeks we all go to Slabtown for the Halloween ride. I'm also taking JR again. Nice....fall has arrived with the changing colors. Looks like a really nice group of riders to explore with. Does your horse ever put his ears back Ming? Always pricked forward in anticipation... I looked at that water crossing with the water tubes and went, "Yup, I would probably be in the drink and the horse on his way home!"... That would of had a double look or more, then a spin and whirl away....  |

JR always has his ears up. The only time he pins them is when he threatens his herd buddies. I didn't know how JR was going to react to it either. He went across it looking at the water rushing into the pipes. He was ok with it. On the way back to camp he crossed it with out a flinch. The only thing he balked at was one of those hay things with the big tooth type wheels on them that they use to turn the hay in the field. He can be a big chicken too!!

Great photos, my horse would have freaked out at the tunnel and the water bridge with tubes. such a chicken she was. now my arab stallion would have done it , than gone after a mare to breed. ??
lovely country and you are a lucky person to have so many involved in what you love to do.
