At least I think it's weird! Only on one side and it doesn't hurt hardly at all inside. Feels like there's a lump, right on the spot I'd feel for my pulse, and pressure hurts. A sore throat that hurts on the outside instead of the inside?

With all the crazy germs floating around right now....go to the doctor if it isn't gone completely by Monday.
Sounds like you have a infection and if you have your tonsils they are working hard to fight it off....
The outside part though makes me also go to a bug bite that needs some attention even if you are unaware it happened...horses you know attract buggies!!
Abscess.....get it looked at, better to be safe than sorry if not gone in a day or so....

Lots of crap going round right now, one of my clients gave me some weird dry sinus infection, I brought up the most horrid crunchy brown and red piece of phlem(spelt wrong?!)yesterday!
I'm not a lover of going to the doctor unless I really have too as antibiotics give me a yeast infection, how is it today, still one side or both or switched sides?

I shouldn't use the term sore throat, it is more like the swollen lymph node, or yes I do still have my tonsils. Sore with pressure. Lorddaxter, ewe! So descriptive! It's still on the right side and now my temp is 100.2. I don't remember the last time I was sick.  |

I take my horses smz's it is a multi anti bacterial and virus medication. and it works. but that is me.
i even ask a doctor about it and he did say it was ok.
you could have strep. or possible ear infection going on. so be careful and if your temp goes higher than seek medical attention.
(i was going to say call a vet, could be ulcers. ) lol no not funny. sorry. smileys-alarm-clock-766719

Lump is smaller, pain is less and fever is gone. Bugs (illnesses) know better than to mess with this country gal!  |
