Here's the link: matrix.northstarmls.com/Matrix/Public/Portal.aspx?ID=0-1306950163-10And these are the ones I like in particular: 2284 293rd Lane NW, Isanti MN 55040 - The inside looks lovely but the outside, meh. But that kitchen, gosh, I love that kitchen, if it only looks 1/2 that good I'd be happy. Kitchens and garages do it for me LOL 2706 134th Avenue NW, Andover MN 55304 - I really liked this one all the way around but it just sold today! But that will happen as I won't feel comfortable buying until January 7th when my probation is up. Then maybe since I'll be buying in winter I may get better deal, who knows. And since my lease isn't up until September, although I can get out of it if I find a replacement renter, I'm good until then anyway. So its all good. And who knows, I oughta/hope I get a raise by January so I can save even more money for the down payment and stuff. 1751 208th Lane NE, East Bethel MN 55011 I don't care for a boiler furnace, but I love the price! And for that price I can afford to put in central forced air. East Bethel is a nice place to live too, not as "city" as much as Andover 634 Ashland Street S, Cambridge MN 55008-1926 I know this isn't the most practical house and its set up as duplex which I don't like, but it sure is pretty! But just think how much it would cost to heat! Holy Cow!

Hmmmm, the houses you mentioned in your post are not listed in the link you posted?

I couldn't find the addresses either.
I tried looking at all property's listed and did find 2706, but the others remained illusive. I can't imagine having that many properties to look through. I am afraid it would take me years to make up my mind.

I'm guessing you're gonna see the same things I am but there are three lists. In the upper RH corner are three squares, above a heart, light bulb and black garbage can. I'm talking about the heart ones. I looked up the cost of lots, the kind you build a house on and I couldn't believe the low prices! In Isanti and Cambridge (as far as I want to go) they're selling for $10-12K! Goodness! Then closer to work they're $50 to 78K+ as I expected. They don't even build a single family house for less than $350K but then I sure don't need a big house like that even if I could afford it! I hope this works: matrix.northstarmls.com/Matrix/Public/Portal.aspx?ID=0-1306950163-10

Gotcha! I like the one by the lake (a bit more expensive but it looks like it wouldn't need any work and the one on 208th.

The one by the lake is nice but I wonder if its "high traffic" near the boat launch and a buncha garbage and trash blowing into my yard? I suppose I could put a fence up there. And the one on 208th, it looks like it more private and East Bethel is a pretty place. But by the time I'm ready to buy they'll be sold. Then new ones to obsess over :=)

You never know! But I always think it's fun to look at houses for sale, especially in other places since the prices are so different (I guess like with horses). When it gets closer, make a spreadsheet to keep track of them all (like you probably aren't already! , Yes, I love spreadsheets too!).

Of course I have a spreadsheet LOL is there any other way? I have my budget linked to house costs and mortgage options I do not spend money easily. At least not that much. I thought saving $10K was huge and it is but gosh its like a minimum since so many of these don't have appliances and I sure don't want to finance appliances for 30 years. I'd love it if I could find a cheap enough place to pay off in 15 yes but that's not likely.

2284 293rd lane... The trees, the lake, the kitchen, the lake, and the kind of, wild tangle of vegetation, the lake, the view out the bathroom window, or any window is beautiful. The green is so peaceful, then I imagine it all with on every branch, and ice on the lake. It seems like a place to ease the troubles of a hectic life, and a place to relax. Oh my. Oh wait, does it have a fire place. I need to go look again....... Hmmm, no, but a wood burning stove is not to expensive to install, and much more economical to use, and there looks to be plenty of room. JMHO
Have fun looking. I can't imagine how you were able to go through all those houses and narrow it down to just those 7 gems.

Price and location rule out a few. I prefer to have a rambler, a walkout would be the nicest. I suppose its okay to be picky after all I'm buying it! I also have the luxury of not being in a hurry.

I swear , you make me run to google as much as anybody. Now I know what a rambler and a walkout is. I am glad that you have plenty of time, because that list of houses is staggering. When I found my house there were 4 country homes on the market in my location. One was way to expensive, one had only 2.5 acres, and one was really old and caught up in an estate settlement, and my house. It was pretty easy, but I still second guess myself. I can't even imagine what you must be feeling.

I'm getting to know what I want plus I have all the time in the world. So its no biggie. I just hope that when the time comes I find something I can get excited about.
