We've been watching The Quest which just started a few weeks ago. It's a reality show- which I usually never watch- where the participants are involved in a Survivor type of situation except it's almost a Game of Thrones scenario with special effects and cool characters. I'm enjoying it.
On Sunday the series based on Diana Gabaldon's Outlander books is starting. I can't wait to see it! The guy looks totally hot in the commercials. I'm usually not a romance/bodice ripper book reader but I loved her books.

I started to watch the quest and decided that one more reality show would set me off the edge. as for the outlander. i can not get it . as it is on a pay channel and my bill is way to much already . my daughter in law has read the books all 8 of them and says she can not wait for the series to start.
i am looking forward to the return of the fall shows. like greys anatomy, been watching that since year one.

I don't have cable or satellite, just an antenna on my house so my channels are very limited. I am looking forward to Biggest Loser coming back on. My son and I were talking about Siberia again the other day. Did any of you watch that one? They took it off after the first season and my son and I are still wondering about what happened to all the characters! So aggravating. We decided they should film a "finale" and put it on the internet just to wrap things up.

We pay a fortune for our cable and internet package. Everything is more expensive in Canada and we have less disposable income to start with because of taxes. With being sick I watch a lot more TV than I used to. I'm so tired of Dr Phil and Judge Judy and I used to really like both of them but never got to watch them because I was working.

Tell me about it, our sat is $140 a month, we never watch it but hubby wont let me cancel it so I make him pay it, i have netflix and we watch that constantly along with a huge dvd collection, honestly without netflix I'd be lost, means you need a good internet package though, more expense but still much cheaper than the sat.

Oh, I just remembered another one I am looking forward to: CSI: New Orleans! Supposedly the episodes are based on real senarios from right here in New Orleans!

I just started watching Lost on netflix, it's actually better than I thought it would be, quite gripping.
What are you all thinking of outlander, I haven't managed to catch an episode yet?
Looking forward to walking dead starting soon:)

I read the Outlander books but it was several years ago and I can't remember if the show is acculturate to the books. I noticed that Diana Gabaldon is on the staff for the show. I've watched every show. It's good but a bit slow. I think the guy playing, is it Jamie?, is hot. Probably young enough to be my son, ha ha.
