Today I was sitting here surfing and notice I was have muscle spasms on my left side. almost felt like a baby kicking inside ya. So later I went out side and did some yard work of putting those tree pads around 3 new trees I planted. They keep grass from growing around them. I went and got rocks to put around them and them mulched them. Then grabbed my Mantis an tilled up out along the road where I planted a tree and it's the section that was a jungle when we moved in. So trying to do that a section at a time. The vines had taken over and now we are trying to get them out so we can replant things. Now I'm in sciatica mode. So took some muscle relaxers and hope it will help.
My plan is to pull the rocks back up and wash them off .Then put a base coat of white paint on them. Then with that new Glowz paint. It is suppose to glow at night. Thought it would be cool so see the rocks lit up at night. But after I got the can home and got my glasses on so I could read the fine print. It said to use a base coat on them. So now I have to go get a quart of white paint and then spray the Glowz on them. Hope it works after all this. I have a redbud in the front yard and 2 hawthorns on the north side of the house. I still have crabapples and crepe myrtles to plant.
We are also getting a 16 foot round by 48 in deep Pool. So we have picked out a spot that is level enough that we won't have to do to much leveling. So we will start on that. I'm going to frame out a 20 x 20 area then fill it with sand, rent a packer to get it packed down good before we set up the pool. It has to be good and level or it will collapse with weight of the water. Then I found some free plans on building a deck around it. Doesn't look to hard to do and it will look nice when done. The pool will be set up next to the well house and between the 2 houses. Then since there isn't much shade there I'm going to park my LQ facing Jessi' house and that will block the view from the road and then I can drop the awning on the trailer for sitting under. Called the building supply place and sand is 50$ a ton. So I will get 2 ton and go from there. They will load it but we will have to unload it. I would love to put it right off the back porch but that is were the septic is. So can't do that.
Oh and I have yellow squash !!! The garden doesn't look good. But the peppers, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, and green beans are doing ok. Corn too. We replanted a row of peas. A lot of the plants were lost due to the bad rains we had right after we planted it. So we are learning. Next year hopefully it will be better. We still have he other section of the car port were going to turn into a chicken coop. for next spring.
Tractor is dead in the field. A wheel feel off of it due to a bearing going. Finally got new ones so maybe tomorrow it will be back in use. So Lint can finish bush hogging. Isn't farm life fun?
