As most of you know. I lived in my LQ for 3 yrs. It has taken a toll on it. Especially during the winters. Me being a smoker and it being locked up since we have been here. It sure is a big smokey stink along with the dust etc. So I got in it this morning and started scrubbing. The ceiling in it a cloth type which is going to be a pita to do. I'm going to use my green machine on it to hopefully to get the smells out. It has black streaks in it due to separation of the installation in the roof, You can see lines were the installation boards meet. That I can't take care of unless I redo the ceiling. Not going there! So far I have taken the mattress out and took it in the house. I have one side of the GN wall cleaned to the door. Taking 5 as this is hard on my poor hands and arms. I even found a small fist size mud dauber nest under the window valance. So headed back out to do the other side of the GN and then see how the roof cleaning will work out. I'm using Purple Power cleaner which is da bomb for cleaning. I used it on the outside last time I washed it and it removed the black streaks instantly. That will be another 2 days of a good cleaning on it. But we are getting ready to pull it back to VA to get Rawhide and after that. I'm hoping to meet up with some new people for a weekend camp out the end of the month. Time flies huh? We will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary tomorrow. Doubt if we will do anything. Lint already got my B-day/Anniversary gift which is my .380 pistol. I'll just give him a hard time as I usually do.. stick tongue out Ok back to the grind.....

Enjoy the "fruits of your labor" when you head east to get Rawhide, then again when you head out for that camping trip. As for tomorrow... Happy Anniversary...To think you almost passed on taking the chance...no pocket Lint to have and to hold dear to your heart... Enjoy your special day!!

Min, see if your home depot has Spray Nine. it is the best cleaner for smokers. and non smokers to get rid of the gook, grease and yellow, or brown stains..just spray and watch the stuff drip. i do the yucky laundry with it when the hubby comes in with greasy clothes and for stainless steel it is the best. no streaks and no scrubbing to get anything clean.

Thanks HL4L and no I don't plan on quitting. Thanks HL. No you can't have Molly. She is turning out to be a good girl. I can't get out of her sight, if I do she stands at the door and whines. Plus her and Sweet play together pretty well. I'm attached to her now. It looks a lot better. I was more worried that the glue holding the cloth on would come loose. But so far so good. That was my biggest fear of even starting it. No one had an idea how to clean it. I almost have the front section done. Then the dreaded part the bath room. There is not a lot of room to move around in. I still have to back track and wipe the walls down and clean out the cabinets. Spiders are mad that they are losing their home or life... I wasn't to sore this morning, but I'm wearing down fast now. Ok gotta get back out there.

Well I finished the LQ cleaning today. My poor hand aches so bad. It's the one I had surgery on and wasn't fixed right. So I'm basically tearing it again. The ceiling didn't come out as clean as I wanted, But a lot of it is dust from the roof.
So tomorrow I will put the mattress and dining table back in it. The roof vents were open and never thought of it. But now I have a bridle bag full of moldy tack. So will get that taken care of. Lint took all the tack out of the rear tack. The back of the trailer won't get cleaned till after riding season.
So it is basically road ready. Taking in my truck tomorrow to get the oil changed. I'm planning on pulling with it instead of Lint's truck.. Glad this job is done....
