My girl would have been 22 years old today. It's been 16 months since we lost her to colic, and I miss her everyday. Happy Birthday, Old Girl. I will love and miss you forever! At 2 years old: On her 19th birthday:

Such wise eyes she had. and sorry for your loss. i think of the ones i lost and i cry for them yet i am glad they entered my life to be loved and to love me back. and those memories can never be taken away.
sure i wish they are here. but i have others happy in their place.

I think what makes me sad is the lost time...since she was out on lease for 10+ years, those were years I can't get back. I only had her back for a year and half before we lost her, and even then, we moved across the country and had to get settled, so I didn't see her as often as I would have liked. She was loved though, and she had a happy life. She got to just be horse for most of her life with very little care. She was never sick a day in her life until the day we lost her, so I'm happy about that. I miss all my furbabies who have passed, but am happy for the ones we have now

1fatmule - it is the "m-a-d" in the word m-a-d-e that the bull comes up.
