This is something that has long bothered me about the 'other' board. People who post pics of their babies and small children. There are some pretty disturbing individuals out there and even the most innocent picture can end up on some sordid child porn site. Or be used elsewhere. My daughter had an old Chevette (remember those?) as her first car and she fixed it up beautifully and we see it in different places on a regular basis. Nothing disturbing but it shows how pictures get passed around.
Anyway, I never comment on anyone's baby pics because I think they should be private and only shared on something like FB for people who actually know the parent and child. I realize that a person can take a picture off of FB but it's still better than posting it for total strangers to see. My daughter and I were discussing this and she said she'd be really upset to come across a picture of herself as a baby or child that I'd posted years ago, she'd feel like it was a lack of privacy. She's twenty-five.
I'll be honest, I find the ultrasound pics to be particularly disturbing but that's just me. They don't look like cute babies, they look like aliens.
Anyway, I'm just wondering if I'm weird or being over concerned if anyone else agrees with me about the baby pics?
