I have been having fights with my new Chromebook about pics. I finally managed to get a few that I can access and share. We have all wondered what Belle's color is going to do. I'm sure it's not going to stay as is, but it's been interesting so far this spring! First to remind all of Belle's color. Yesterday;

Is she a black roan or a blue in color.?? i have a feeling as she ages and with every spring shedding she is going to be more grey and when older she will be almost all grey,, of course with some black on her knees ,, she is cute and looks like a sturdy little horse.

There should be two pics before the last one. Let me try those again. It's the transformation! Ah, just the one will do!

I love the snowflake pattern. We have a mare that has gotten more white snowflakes as she has gotten older. Everyone thinks she is a roan but she is 100% Appy and was solid when we bought her 10 years ago. Belle is a beauty.

I was thinking Varnish as well but I am not familiar with the Appy world at all so don't listen to me! I'm sure there are tons of Appy FB pages that you could join and show pictures and get some help from them. Whatever she is, she is very pretty!

Thanks ! Talking about color and genetics can make me feel like I'm back in school. When It's just one (my own baby) it's a little easier, for me anyway. I don't understand what preferences you mean?

It is easy cause I'm a color expert. # 1 horse color I like. #2 horse color I like some better. #3 horse color I like more than some better. #4 horse color I like even more than some better. #5 horse color I like a whole more some better.

What does she like to do? I don't know. I haven't worried about saddling yet, I don't agree with working them young, although I could start her without "working" her. I don't think I've ever seen her really push herself running. She'll play and run, but not with passion, maybe. Don't see her being a speed demon!

Maybe she's a curious sort and likes to figure out puzzles? Like how to navigate a maze with obstacles to come to you for a scratch?

Interesting color, I think she will definitely gray out. In which shade, I don't know. Not the best pictures either.
