That is ok.. and thanks for the clarification about who is who on the list. i just hope the mare gets her due lifes reward by living her life at that place. as you said. time will tell and at least you do not have her to take care of especially when you are looking for a healthy riding horse ..

You didn't sound accusing. I wasn't clear. I was pretty upset when I wrote the post, so it was a jumbled mess.
Between the crap with Crescent, Apollo's sale, and Melody's upcoming surgery, along with work and all that, I've been a swamped emotional mess, so I'm not surprised that my post was confusing.
Mom's taking a step back from looking for bow and is just going to work on getting Tilley in shape until she finds the right horse.
We saw a mother/daughter trail ride going on in Georgia. We can't do it this year, but it's definitely now a goal.

Wow, I saw the thread and started reading happy for everyone, then sad as it turned upside down. Nobody came out on top om this one. I don't have much hope for poor Crescent. The guy may have to have a vet every three months but nothing stops him from "getting rid" of her again. You thought he was a friend, yet he screwed you over. No telling what he'd tell a stranger. While reading I was hoping you'd turn her over to a rescue, but then I don't know what you have available. The whole thing just sucks.

My thought is the original owner should stand up and do the right thing with this mare. after all he had her when the accident happened and got rid of her to the buy with the trailer. the horses pay. one way or another.
rescues are full everywhere. ... just annoying situation all the way around.

The accident happened long before any of the ones mentioned got her. She was "broken" harshly by whoever J bought her from in TX. He's the one who sold her originally with no disclosure. J discovered it when he started training Crescent.
I'm just going to pray that R takes care of her. Rescues here are either full, don't take in horses, or won't take her because she's being cared for. We looked into the ones we could find. Tried to find a pasture only home for her too.

I did figure that you had checked out rescues. I've seen enough from you through the years to know that you are not one to give up easily. You'd do everything you could.
