That's cool! My favourite winter riding gear is an indoor heated arena. Ha ha!

My friends daughter works in marks work warehouse, I got the heated insoles with removable batteries for $120!...should be $199,I've used the other ones for past 2 years but they wouldn't charge anymore so had to bin them, no way I can manage without these, I have Renaud's.

A friend of mine has that and loves it. I don't ride when it bitter out. My bones can't handle it. I use to have the battery type socks but they got to warm and then your feet got cold from sweating.

Lov the cover for the helmet. and seems it would do the trick to keep ears and neck warm. never thought of heated insoles. hubby got heated glove liners last holiday and he felt they were too inconvenient to wear a he needed a pair of gloves over them and he was always struggling . i use my arena and not go to far in the . lol

Don't think we had the "deep" cold that other areas have... Growing up it was more wet/damp cold than dry and freezing... So, I used real silk glove liners, socks and undies long-johns...and turtlenecks always! Thin and able to layer for me worked well with all my clothing. Hats and I rarely are a pair....I'm to hot with them on while riding or working. Even in really frigid weather, it was rare to get me in a hat. I wore flannel lined jeans, and then had my full length riding chaps on over that when it was very windy and real cold working turning out the horses...
Now, well it isn't a issue anymore. We deal with heat, excessive heat and when that bad honestly I don't ride as it is dangerous for horse or human!!

My body just doesn't handle the cold too well anymore, and it gets brutally cold here in Illinois, especially with the winter winds we get, so I generally don't ride in the winter. I guess I'm just a fair weather rider these days.
The helmet with the fleece wrap looks nice, though!
