Aww Lucky you. applauseI have always wanted a good mule. I had one but he was going to hurt me and I'm to old to deal with it. Congrats!! IF you ever need to rehome him let me know! I'll come get him....

that's awesome!!! Congrats!!! Must feel amazing to know you won't have to leave him behind! I know I've had to leave a few horses behind that I had as free leases, you always wonder. Luckily, you got him!!! YAY Now that he's officially yours, will you have to pay extra to cover his board? Or will the free lease continue till you leave?

The free lease will pretty much continue until I leave. Ill pay for any vet or farrier work but that's all.

Congrats!! Gus is very handsome. I've always wanted a nice mule too. Just looked at the old Camelot (Cranbury) Auction FB page,., several older Amish mules for sale. Very sad,., worked hard, and now that they deserve their retirement, they are at that auction. Heartbreaking,.., wish I could rehome a few. Best of luck on your move, and with your Gus

I have seen the photos of the mules coming thru new holland and it is sad that they work their lives on a farm and then poof. out they go. perhaps one day i will get one but for now i will enjoy your gus with you. so keep those stories coming .

Too many animals need homes, it is too too much. Sometimes I just want to crawl in under the covers
