I wonder if I should have kept that little round exercise trampoline, I had. Maybe that wound give me the hop I am missing, to hop into the saddle. On second thought, probably not.
I am trying to diet. I need to loose 20 lbs. to get to my ideal weight, but I can't. Ok,,, I could, but I would have to eat rice cakes and carrot sticks, and as everyone knows, diet food only tastes good, if it is dunked in ranch dip, or butter. *sigh*  |

H4, I know what you mean about the "ustacoulds". When I was a teenager I would turn the stirrup, put my foot in and simply the momentum and little bit of force of the stirrup leather turning back in position would propel me into the saddle. Sure enough doesn't work that way now, let me tell you! I use a mounting block even for Peaches although for her I lower myself rather get up on her LOL

I always use a mounting block for me as well as the horse.
HL4L, they use special saddles for trick riding and some other things but the person still hangs off the side in many of their tricks. |

You all need a pony, why'd you think I bought a 13.3hh sturdy conemarra, easy to mount and dismount and if you use a milk crate well you can just step on!
