For those who know me, I'm version1955 from HT. I decided to change my "name" to better represent who I am, although calling myself "Chocolate" did cross my mind :))

Its kind of sad to introduce my horses because Buster my best friend passed away a few months ago.
Here's Peaches from a couple years ago. I love this one because she was holding water in her lower lip until I tipped my finger in there. That's Mr. Buster in the background.

Let me introduce you to Rabbi Ziggy

Some of you may remember my very close companion Schoenie, he too passed away just a month before The Bus. A few weeks ago we adopted Coda, who seems to be a Golden Retriever x Irish Setter. This isn't the best picture of him but it'll have to do for now.

Here is Carpet. I know its a goofy name but look at her! 8-)

She just came back from a friend's place who has a bull so we're so very much hoping for a heifer with her personality. Carpet is a true pet and is being trained as best I can in honor of QuarterCowGirl's Jolene

This is Rene' and her daughter Ballerine, who turned out to be a freemartin

Nice pictures of all of your treasured friends, those here and now departed...I know your heart still aches.
The love we have for all creatures whether human or animal...hurts when you lose a treasured one..

On a brighter note...you have some new animals to share your love with and they with you..good memories of those gone and a whole new tomorrow to make new memories with your new "herd family".

My gender was questioned once on HT when we set up to meet. The gal's husband came along and then waited until he knew I wasn't a threat. I was kind of insulted to tell you the truth. At least he knew I was okay when he actually looked at me.
