Wow...every picture is a WOW!!!!  Question Lip... In the first picture of the 3 horses...the one gray has a longer length "roached" mane. Is it common to roach a Lipizzaner mane? All the horses of this breed I've seen had long flowing manes.... And the carriage picture of the men standing upon the horses backs, WHY??? Do the horses move and they must stay on top of them? What is this for?..........  |

No horses dont move, it was just for pictures, they won in competition. That first man on two white horses is my dad. As for the mane, I dont know is it common, people do as they like. We really have a LOT of Lipizzaners so you can see all kind of them.

Thank you mistersmom, and mingiz, that is not the only thing we do with our horses in Croatia, but I can describe it the best way by compering it with your western riding. Cowboys are something that was way of life in the past and you are trayng to keep it alive, it is the same way with our tradition, only you are taking it little bit more serious  |

it is good to keep the the traditions alive for the new generations to see what it was like and for them to participate and continue the heritage. So impressed with the colors and the orderly fashion those horses are in and the wagons and people in dress. beautiful is just one word. Oh and i see UNICORN on the wagon. she and her partner are beautiful.  pictures |

So incredibly beautiful, all of it. Imagine having a culture where horses play such an important role?! I can't say enough how absolutely gorgeous your horses are, so well behaved but then well trained and the riders, you included, are skilled. Its such a wonderful thing that there are so many families involved, you are so lucky, so fortunate, what a blessed life. Thank you again for sharing all of this with us. Perhaps it is ordinary and day to day for you but it certainly is magnificent (I wish I had a better vocabulary) to me.

hugs- wow, thank you so much, it is so incredible to be able to share this with you, I am really proud of my culture :)
horselady- red,white and blue are our national colors, also part of our traditional clothing, that is why it is the most usuall on the saddle pads. :)

This is the first time I viewed these pictures and I must say they are gorgeous! So nice to see Lippizaner horses being used - most people I know only get to see them when they tour with the Spanish Riding School. Thank you so much for sharing. I really enjoyed them.
