I love Viktor's proud and bold look but I also love Athos's calm look. Is he a quieter boy or am I being fooled? He's really gorgeous! You're so lucky to have these wonderful horses at home and to see them grow from babies to adults. What a wonderful life!
I have a cute story about Lipizzans, I hope I haven't told this one before. My daughter had just turned ten when I got her her first horse. She'd been saving money which I'd told her I'd match for over a year. During the time she was saving she was always reading about horses and looking things up on the computer. One day she announced to me that she'd figured out what breed she thought would be most suitable for her. A Lipizzan! I tried not to laugh as I explained that there are no Lipizzans anywhere near us so that wouldn't be an option. She was quite disappointed. |

Actually ngh Viktor is much more quite and calmer. I know Athos don't look like that, but he is a big mischief. He will bite older mares and get in truble before you know it. Viktor will just stand aside and watch his naughty brother beinge chased by older horses.
I am sorry your daughter did not get her dream horse. But it is not never to late. Once you own a Lipizzan you will fall in love with the breed. Their ability to empathize with people is amazing. And don't belive when people say Lipizzans are suitable only for few thing. They really can do everything.
