Heading East

 Well we will be headed east next week. We will stop in Va. and meet up with gailfinney and Ricky. Leave the LQ there and then head to MD and N.Va to see his kids and then to see my friends and home again. I wanted to take the LQ to MD and stay in it at my bff's farm and spend time with her. Then pick up Rawhide on the way back. Plus spend a few days with Ricky and Gail before we head back out, When we get back then I have to get it ready for the end of October trail ride.
Pulled out a bridle bad and it had gotten wet from the roof vent being left open. So I had a bag full of nasty bridles. So got those cleaned up today and oiled. Now I have to get my saddle cleaned and ready to go. Have the farrier coming Tuesday to put shoes on Reno. and trim JR. Then when we get Rawhide here. He will get shoes. Lint wants to ride him on the trail ride. Makes me nervous because he is a green rider and Rawhide is still green. He didn't get the miles put on him because of Ricky having to work his own horses for show season. So Ricky will have to give Lint a few riding lessons before we pull out of there. Or I will end up riding him. Which I can. So we will see how things go...
So much to do and no time. Plus I'm babying my right wrist. I think I have re-torn the tendons in it. Had it operated on back in 08 and it was never right after that..So wearing my brace and not doing anything to stressful with it. The LQ cleaning killed it. It was already puffing up...It's hell getting old with a mind of a 20yro and the body of a 60 yro...
