They are stunning. and the baby is going to be one beautiful little horse now do you spend nights in the barn, or do you go out and find the baby, or do you have. cameras in the barn and tv in the house so you can monitor the stall.?
and i see you use shipping pallets for stall walls, i do not use them personally, but people i know use them for fencing a good use for shipping waste.

We dont use them normaly but that stall is very big, it is like a room for foaling, and we just put the pallets so that mare cant reach the pipe that is in that stall, because we had ocasions when mare has opened the pipe and water was all over the place. We dont have cams and I dont spend nights in barn because this particular mare hates that. So she wont foal if we are around. Every foal she has gave birth by herself. But we monitor her of course.

the pallets you have look much nicer than the ones we have in my area. yours are smooth, with rounded edges, and no splinters like most i see. nice matched team too, you dont see many mare/stallion teams around here. now your foal will be born dark colored, and then grey out right ? beautiful buggy also, VERY expensive in the U.S.

I dont know if buggy means carigge. That one is 100 years old. Our ancestors used it to drive with horses. Yes, the foal will be born dark, but i cant know if is going to turn white, because it is our first foal from that stallion.

When we were breeding the arabians, we had foal monitors on the mares. meaning a monitor was placed on the mares head and when she would lie down and put pressure on her head to push the foal it would send a signal into the house on an intercom. my husband invented it. and no we never put it on the market. (too bad right) any way the mares would start to foal and could not stop it , and by that time we were in the barn, now there are video cameras so inexpensive that everyone who is having babies uses them, they work with a monitor inside the house and you can see everything in the stall.
the palettes are a great idea to have in case a person needs to make another holding area.
love the carriage.

That is awsome idea with the camera that your husband invented. And really horselady I am not sensitive and I don't get made easily. You can tell me if you think something is not right. If you think that pallets are dangerous, that horse can hurt himself or something be free to say. I am here to learn, not to be how do I say this, I don't whant you to camouflage what are you trying to say. I accept constructive criticism.

Trust me, i will say what i need to say and i hope it does not offend. we are all here to learn and enjoy the other person knowledge and experiences as for the pallets it is a great idea, why not. wish my husband would use. them. i think i will start collecting them and use them for the mini horses, they get out of the electric fence but that wood would be safe for them.
