Spruce Grove Alberta to be exact. I have 5 horses two dogs and am recently up to 5 cats. Not my choice on that one. You live on a farm and people just think they can drop off cats they don't want any more. My last two are cats you don't normally see at a barn. One Siamese Cross and one purebred Ragdoll??
I do have an animal board also but dead as a doornail. I do like talking about my animals so looking for other animal lovers.

Hi bigdog, and welcome from snowy Illinois! As the happy owner of 15 barn cats, I know what you mean about people thinking they can just drop off cats they don't want anymore. Several of ours just mysteriously showed up and decided to stay. The way I look at it, they obviously weren't loved by whoever dumped them, but at least they are loved now. heart balloons

Thanks for the welcomes. Finding it hard to type as Mr Ragdoll is on my laptop. LOL He is making himself at home finally. The barn I have is like a fortress and no way cats can come and go as I am sure I would have more. I have two in the barn. I did have 4 but some left the door open and two got out and it took about 4 months and one was dead on the road the other I think was coyote food.

Welcome from sun Florida. I am currently adding to my menagerie. Just built a new barn, am searching for new rode-the-horse horses for the family and have 2 dogs currently. The neighbors have goats which have adopted us...12 currently and many pregnant and ready to add to that number already here....all pets!! No cats here, except the wild ones (panthers & bobcats)... Yup, we are also animal lovers...  |
